Unfortunately files cannot be uploaded in the order you select them. It’s still something we need to find a solution for…we are limited on what we can do with the Google Apps Script environment.
Multiple files can be inserted in alphabetical order if you want that.
Another workaround is sorting the columns by date in your Sheet after the files are inserted.
