FileDrop acts like a file manager, when you create add a file to a document in Google Docs, FileDrop creates a copy of it in the Google Drive.
The permissions are needed to create files, move or copy files, rename your files and all the other functions like permissions when you share the files with others using FileDrop.
We don’t access or read your files, everything runs inside a container like environment in your Drive/Docs.
Does your permission for FileDrop allow it to have access to user’s data?
No. Your permission to use FileDrop does not give us extra rights to access your users’ data.
We cannot impersonate you or your users and retrieve their Drive/Gmail data, programmatically.
