FileDrop Updates

FileDrop Updates – Week 5 2026: PDF Stats, Repeatable Fields And APIs

We’ve made another set of updates to FileDrop and I wanted to share them with you, if you are collecting data and documents from users these are helpful.

File Request Pages

Most of the updates were focused on our document collection software, we’re gathering great feedback from how it works from our clients.

Repeatable Fields Section

Repeatable Fields File Request Pages

This was requested by one of our customers who is an accountant and has clients that need to enter information for multiple items, but not all the customers have the same quantity of information.

It allows the users to duplicate the fields on the page and enter information. You can see a demo here.

Group Responses by Email

For users that send you files or information weekly/monthly, this is super useful. In the reponses tab you can filter by email and you can see all the information submitted by that client.

Create Templates from already created Pages

The flow for creating Page templates is now easier, if you already have a Page that you want it as a template, you can save it and it can be reused as a template quickly. Use the Save As template button.

This allows the customization of your pages for your users/clients much easier.

Login and test all the above.

PDF Hosting Statistics

We’ve added better stats for our PDF Hosting tool. It gives all users a better context to see who is visiting their shared PDF files.

New APIs

We’ve finally added APIs to all our tools. This allows us and our customers to connect other tools with our ecosystem. You can view the docs and play with the APIs from your account and the API management section.

  • File Request Pages
  • PDF Hosting
  • Secure Send

In the next weeks we are focusing on connecting different apps that will help you retrieve data, send data, or create links automatically from tools you already work with.

If you have requests or need help, please reach out; we’re always happy to help and solve any issues.
