Save text, links and images in Google Sheets and Drive - Google Chrome Extension
SAVE2 is a simple Chrome extension and companion that allows users to save text, links or images directly to their Google Sheets.
You can bookmark pages and use Google Sheets as a database and research tool and also collaborate with others in the same Google Sheets.
No more copy-pasting, just right-click, and the information is saved.
SAVE2 helps you easily save any information you want from any web page. The information is saved in rows and columns with:
- Date and time
- Source – link from where it was saved
- Type (text, image, link)
- The content saved

How SAVE2 works
First, you need to sign in with your Google account and start setting up your Google Sheet where you want the information.
The settings menu is very simple. Once you login with your Google account, you can browse and select your Google Sheet using the Google Picker.
If the spreadsheet has multiple sheets, you can select any one of them. Also, add the column from which you want to start adding the information, by default just add A.
Optionally, you can save images directly to a Google Drive folder. Just select the option and select your Google Drive folder. Images will be automatically saved in the folder.

Usage
Once you save the settings, you can start using the extension and save information using the right click menu.
To use SAVE2 you just select a text and press the right-click on your mouse. When the menu opens click -> SAVE2 – save to Google Sheets.
For links or images you don’t need to select it, just go over and right click to display the menu and clik -> SAVE2 – save to Google Sheets.
