November is already here and I feel these last few months went by so fast. We’re making some big changes to prepare in advance for 2026, I want to make FileDrop the go-to platform for file management for small and medium businesses. FileDrop is perfect for marketing agencies, lawyers and legal departments, HR, accounting and finance teams.
Our clients are already using some of our latest features but we’re just getting started, the product feels young but is going in the right direction. Some of the updates we made in the last few weeks are:
File Forms is Now File Request Pages
I made the decision that we are not building forms, we are offering a document collection software. We are building workflows and branded web pages for users to request files and documents. The changes we are doing in the background will take the project to the next level, bringing even more customization options and integrations soon.
New fields
We added new fields to the forms inside the Pages:
- Checkbox
- Radio
- Dropdown
- Date
- Number
- Signature
New Page Layout
The new layout is more straight forward and looks more professional, it is not a big change but it has more impact and is more organized.
Page Templates
When creating a page you can now save it as a template. For example, if you request tax documents from users, you can save the basic text and fields, and only change the client name on the page.
Web Platform Security
We are bringing some new security features to the entire platform, some are already working in the background. We developed our own file scanner and a few other bits that we will reveal soon.
Google Sheets Add-on
We made some minor fixes and crushes some bugs we added last time.
Conclusion
There is a lot of work to do and we are pushing hard to offer a complete file management platform that is easy to work with and has the right integration for your company. See you next time :).
The Bottom Line:
One keeps you awake. The other gets work done.
A month of coffee: $150
A month of FileDrop: $19
Why not have both?
