FileDrop Updates

See What’s New At FileDrop Week 50 – 2025

We are pushing a lot of changes before the end of the year on all our tools, from improved functionality and features to design changes. Especially the design part will be improved in the next round of updates. If you have complaints or suggestions, please reach out, we’d love to chat with you.

So this is what we released in the last week:

File Request Pages

At the moment we made some small design changes and updated these features.

Download all files as Zip

All the files in a submission can be downloaded at once in a zip file – this was a request feature from one our users.

100 files per upload field

We’ve updated the number of files for files upload field.

PDF Hosting

Here we worked on more changes, our users base for this tool is growing weekly, so we want to build the best PDF hosting tool for you.

100 mb PDF Files

We now allow Business and Executive users to upload files up to 100mb.

Collect emails

Users can now enable this feature and get the user’s email address before accessing the file. An OTP code is sent to the user’s email address to verify so they can access the file. All emails can be exported from the PDF link settings page and uploaded to a CRM or email outbound tool.

Show/hide QR code

Now you can enable or hide the QR code that is generated automatically for each link

Allow or prevent indexing of files

You can now allow or block the indexing of your PDF files in search engines. The free accounts don’t have this option.

Small design updates on both Desktop and mobile

There are a few small design tweaks that we made in the backend that makes the interface easier to use, also in the front end some elements are redesigned.

See here the previous set of updates we made.
