I’ve got something exciting to share with you today. We’ve just rolled out a nifty new feature that I think you’re going to love. It’s a simple addition, but it packs a punch in terms of versatility and convenience. A simple yet powerful addition: saving selected Google Sheets cells as PNG.

So, what’s the fuss all about? Well, let me walk you through it. With this latest update, you can now easily select a portion of your Google Sheet and save it directly as a PNG image file.

Now, why is this handy? The possibilities are endless! Once you’ve saved your selection as a PNG, you can do all sorts of things with it. Send it via email, download it for offline use, open it, copy it, or share it with others seamlessly.

How it works?

Just select the cells you want to save as PNG and click the bottom menu bottom or use the Extension menu, Click on “Save selection as PNG”.

It’ll take a moment to process, just a few seconds.

The PNG file is now automatically saved in your FileDrop folder. From here, the options are aplenty. You can simply copy the URL and paste it wherever you need, open the file directly from Google Drive, or download it for local use.
