Share a folder and keep control of it
Rooms read your folder straight from Google Drive. Nothing gets copied into another storage service, and when you add or edit a file in Drive, the room updates by itself.

Choose any folder from My Drive or a shared drive. Its subfolders come along, and new or edited files appear in the room automatically.

Decide who gets in
Add participants by email or from a CSV. Each person gets a personal link, confirmed by an emailed code on every new device. Add a password, an expiry date or a signed NDA on top.

NDA BEFORE ENTRY
Require a signed NDA before anyone sees a file
Add your NDA once and reuse it across rooms. Visitors sign it with FileDrop Sign before the room opens, and you keep the signed PDF with its audit record.

Rooms run on your FileDrop subdomain or your own domain, with your logo. Participants don’t need a Google or FileDrop account, and they never see who else has access. You can message everyone in a room from the app.
Watermarks discourage copying. They can’t stop someone from taking a screenshot.

Data room FAQs
Which files can people view?
PDFs, images, Word, PowerPoint and Excel files, and Google Docs, Sheets, Slides and Drawings open in the browser viewer. Other files can be downloaded when you allow downloads.
Do participants need an account?
No. They open their personal link and enter a code sent to their email the first time they use a new device.
How many rooms and people can I have?
Business includes 5 rooms with up to 100 people each, and each room holds up to 1,000 files. Teams includes 50 rooms with up to 500 people each, and each room holds up to 5,000 files.
Where are my files stored?
In your Google Drive. FileDrop reads the folder with your permission and keeps short-lived, encrypted previews. It doesn’t keep copies of your original files.
Can people download everything at once?
When downloads are allowed, participants can download a folder or the whole room as a zip file, or pick several files at once.
Which plans include Rooms?
Business and Teams. If you move to a lower plan, your rooms are archived rather than deleted, and they open again when you upgrade. See FileDrop pricing.
