One place for every client file your agency touches
Collect briefs and brand assets on branded intake pages. Send decks, proposals and reports as tracked links. Keep every campaign asset in a visual library — and automate the filing in between.

From kick-off call to campaign-ready
Four steps that replace the thread where someone eventually attaches a 40 MB zip called logos_FINAL_v2.
Request
Build one branded page listing exactly what the client owes you: logo files, brand guidelines, photography, copy deck, sign-off. Send the link.
No client loginChase
FileDrop emails only the people who have not replied, on the interval you set, and stops the moment their files land.
Runs without youFile
Every upload routes into Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive in a folder named after the client, and a row appears in your tracker.
Straight to storageDeliver
Send the finished deck, report or proposal back as a branded link. See who opened it, how long they stayed and which page they re-read.
With read receiptsThe features that earn their keep in an agency
Every plan includes all of it. You choose volume, not which features get unlocked.
Branded intake pages
Your logo, your colours, your domain. One page per client or per campaign, so the request looks like you sent it — not like a form.
Automatic reminders
Set an interval and a cap. FileDrop nudges only the clients still outstanding, and bulk campaigns send the same checklist to your whole roster at once.
Files up to 1 GB
Raw video, layered PSDs, full photo shoots. Up to 100 files per submission, with virus scanning on the way in.
Tracked delivery links
Share decks and proposals as links, not attachments. Watermark them, block download and print, set an expiry, and see every view.
Visual asset library
Everything a client sent, in a table that shows thumbnails instead of filenames. Publish any of it as a browsable catalogue page.
Automations
New submission creates the Drive folder, updates the tracker sheet and posts to Slack or Teams. No code, no Zapier task limits.
Six jobs, one intake system
New client onboarding
Everything you need before work starts, requested once instead of discovered halfway through week two.
- Brand guidelines and logo files
- Access credentials and contacts
- Signed scope, collected with a signature field
Campaign asset collection
Per-campaign request pages so assets arrive labelled and on time, not scattered across three email threads.
- Product photography and video
- Approved copy and legal lines
- Deadline set on the request itself
Content production
Freelancers and contributors upload deliverables straight into the right client folder.
- No shared-drive access to hand out
- Files land renamed and foldered
- Slack ping when a deliverable arrives
Influencer & UGC
One public link, hundreds of contributors, no accounts and no inbox meltdown.
- Large video uploads from phones
- Rights and consent captured on the form
- Everything browsable as a visual table
Pitches & proposals
Send the deck as a tracked link and know whether it was actually read before you follow up.
- Watermarked, download blocked
- Per-viewer analytics, page by page
- Swap in v2 without resending the link
Monthly reporting
Deliver client reports on a branded link with an expiry, rather than another 20 MB attachment.
- Email-verified access per client
- Proof the report was opened
- QR code for in-room presentations
Most agencies are paying for four tools to do one job
A file-request tool, something for big files, something to track whether the deck was opened, and a form builder that charges extra for uploads. FileDrop is all four, on one login.
File-request tools
Requesting documents from clients, with reminders and a checklist per client.
Dropbox file requests, Content Snare, FileInvite
Big-file transfer
Getting raw video, photo shoots and layered files past the 25 MB email wall.
WeTransfer and similar transfer services
Document tracking
Sending a proposal as a link and seeing who opened it, for how long, and which page.
Document-tracking and proposal-link tools
Form builders
Intake forms where file upload, custom domains and webhooks sit behind a paid tier.
Typeform, JotForm, Paperform
One subscription, not four
Every FileDrop plan includes all five tools — upload forms, PDF links, tables, automations and the Google Workspace add-on. You pick the volume you need, not which features get unlocked. Plans start at $12 a month.

Comparison reflects publicly documented features at the time of writing and covers the capabilities agencies ask about most — not every product’s full feature set. Vendors change their plans; check the current details before you switch.
Their files, handled like they matter
Agencies hold other people’s unreleased campaigns, embargoed products and customer photography. FileDrop is built and hosted in the EU, and every access control is available on every paid plan.
- ✓Hosted in Germany by Hetzner, built in the EU since 2022. GDPR, CCPA and CASA documented in the open.
- ✓TLS 1.3 in transit, encrypted at rest, virus scanning on every upload.
- ✓You control access — passwords, email-verified links, expiry dates, blocked download and print, dynamic watermarks.
- ✓Team seats and admin on Business+ and Max, so freelancers see only the clients they work on.

Do our clients need an account to send us files?
No. They open your link, drop the files and they are done — no sign-up, no Google account, no app. That is usually the difference between assets arriving on Tuesday and arriving next week.
How large a file can a client send?
Up to 1 GB per file on any paid plan, and up to 100 files in a single submission. Big enough for raw video, a full photo shoot or layered design files — no transfer service in the middle.
Can request pages sit on our own domain?
Yes. FileDrop branding comes off on Pro and above, and links on your own domain plus team admin are included on Business+ and Max. Clients see your agency, not us.
Where do the files actually end up?
Wherever you already work. Uploads route into Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive, foldered by client, and responses can sync to Google Sheets, Airtable or Excel. Nothing is trapped in FileDrop.
Can we tell whether a client opened the proposal?
Yes. Shared PDFs report per-viewer analytics — who opened it, when, how long they stayed and which pages they returned to — plus forwarding, so you know when it reached someone new.
Can freelancers upload without access to our whole Drive?
Yes. A request page is a one-way door: contributors can send files in without seeing anything else. For staff who need real access, Business+ includes 5 seats and Max includes 15, with admin control over who sees which clients.
Set up one client intake page and see what comes back
It takes about five minutes, and the client on the other end has nothing to install, sign up for or learn.
