What year we had, 2024 was a great year for FileDrop, not without it’s ups and downs, but overall we managed to improve in so many ways.
Some of the highlights of 2024 are:
- We doubled the number of add-on installs to over 250.000
- We released over 150 updates to the Add-on
- We added over 20 new features to the Add-on
- We released the files processing web platform, and over 8 tools are now available
- 8 new free tools released
Another win is that we tripled the number of visitors to our blog, and we managed to release on average 3 articles per week. We strive to provide value from both an educational perspective to help users with their productivity and also through our software and free tools.
I am grateful for all our users, it feels amazing that we managed to build something that over 250.000 people have used and the impact we have in their work and lives.
And like any business, we cannot exist without customers. They validate the value of what we build, help us in investing in the company’s future, and support our growth. So many companies that we admire are using FileDrop, from flying taxis to medical researchers, film companies or mattress manufacturers, it’s really incredible to picture so many diverse use cases.
Another important user base for FileDrop is schools and universities, we are proud to say we have users and customers from all Ivy League universities in the United States, you can view them here.
